href=\"https:\/\/gf.ukim.edu.mk\/en\/%d0%b3%d0%b5%d0%be%d1%82%d0%b5%d1%85%d0%bd%d0%b8%d1%87%d0%ba%d0%be-%d0%b8%d0%bd%d0%b6%d0%b5%d0%bd%d0%b5%d1%80%d1%81%d1%82%d0%b2%d0%be-20132014\/\">Geotechnics<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>In the past period, the Faculty of Civil Engineering has continuously expanded, improved, and enriched its activities, adapting to global trends and standards, as well as to the needs of the economy and the social community.\nThe curricula for the civil engineering studies have been constantly enhanced in accordance with the progress of science and technology, and at the same time in line with the changes taking place in our society and the needs of the construction industry.\nThe systems of study and teaching methods have been changed and improved several times.\nThanks to such a policy, the graduate engineers from this Faculty have proven to be well-qualified professionals who are highly accepted not only in our country, but also abroad.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Regarding teaching, starting from the academic year 2004\/2005, based on the decision of the 308th Session of the Teaching\u2013Scientific Council of the Faculty of Civil Engineering, held on March 9, 2004, the university (academic) undergraduate studies in civil engineering \u2014 across the three specializations (Structural Engineering, Hydraulic Engineering, and Transportation Engineering) \u2014 were reformed in accordance with ECTS criteria following the 4+1+3 model (4 years undergraduate + 1 year postgraduate + 3 years doctoral studies).\n\nThe study program and related documentation were approved by Ss. Cyril and Methodius University in Skopje and by the Accreditation Board of the Republic of Macedonia.\nThis means that, during this period, the civil engineering study program offered first-cycle academic (undergraduate) studies in civil engineering lasting four years, with a total workload of 240 ECTS credits, fully compliant with the Bologna Declaration and ECTS standards.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Building on these aspects, and considering that most civil engineering faculties in Europe have transitioned to a 3+2+3 system (three years for the first cycle, two for the second, and three for the third cycle of studies), the Teaching\u2013Scientific Council of the Faculty of Civil Engineering, at its 380th Session, based on prior detailed analyses, decided to innovate the curriculum according to the new study concept.&nbsp;<strong>3+2<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This program is designed to provide an educational environment for students, aiming to achieve the following primary objectives:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Explicitly set the structure of the study programme,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The establishment of courses and teaching materials,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The full reconciliation of these items and the materials by the universities in the country on the Balkans and Europe.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The formation of the personnel potential of the after-school materials related to the economy through three main branches, \u043a\u043e\u043d\u0441\u0442\u0440\u0443\u043a\u0442\u0435\u0440\u0441\u043a\u043e, \u0445\u0438\u0434\u0440\u043e\u0442\u0435\u0445\u043d\u0438\u0447\u043a\u043e and engineering, roads and railways&#034;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The purpose of the present human potential<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The mobility of the teaching staff of the partner universities<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The mobility of the students of the partner universities<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The establishment of the information centre<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The maintenance and development of the existing laboratories<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The maintenance and development of the library, with a full total stock fund,
