How do I enrol in third-cycle studies?<\/div>\r\n

According to the Call for<\/u> enrolment of students in the third cycle (download the call)<\/u><\/a> , with completed second-cycle studies, an average grade above 8.00 achieved across the first and second cycles of studies, and proof of knowledge of one of the three languages most commonly used in the European Union (English, French and German).<\/p>\n\r\n <\/div>\r\n <\/div> \r\n

What is needed after the defence of the Bachelor's\/Master's thesis?<\/div>\r\n
\r\n
The minutes of the defence of the Bachelor's thesis or Master's thesis must be submitted to the Faculty Archive.<\/div>\n
For the certificate, diploma and diploma supplement, the student submits a payment slip for 6,200 denars according to the Faculty Price List<\/u><\/a> and proof of an electronically completed Form for graduates of undergraduate studies at faculties and higher vocational schools VOI 50<\/a><\/b><\/b>, or proof of an electronically completed Form for persons who have obtained the academic title of Master or the title of specialist VOI 80 <\/a><\/b> <\/b>on the portal <\/b>https:\/\/uslugi.gov.mk\/<\/a><\/div>\n

A student may apply for a Bachelor's thesis if they have earned at least 140 ECTS credits in the three-year study programmes, in accordance with the Regulations on first- and second-cycle studies (download the Regulations<\/u><\/a>)<\/u>, the Decision on the rules for first- and second-cycle studies at the Faculty of Civil Engineering(Decision .pdf).<\/a>and the Decision on the manner of delivering the Bachelor's Thesis course for the Civil Engineering (GR) and Geotechnical Engineering (GT) study programmes(Decision .pdf).<\/a>).<\/div>\n

The Dean, on the student's proposal, appoints the mentor and the topic and forms a committee for the evaluation and defence of the Bachelor's thesis.<\/div>\n

Download the Application for Bachelor's thesis<\/u><\/a> (<\/u>(attached, which you need to submit). It is completed in consultation with the mentor and must be signed by the mentor.<\/div>\n
The Application must be accompanied by: a payment of 200 denars according to the Price List <\/u><\/a>for a Certificate of passed exams, a certificate of paid obligations to the Faculty from the accounting office or sonja@gf.ukim.edu.mk<\/u><\/a> and a certificate that you have no overdue library books or magdalena@gf.ukim.edu.mk<\/u><\/a>. If you received a scholarship while studying or took part in credit mobility abroad, please state this on the application itself, on the second page.<\/div>\n\r\n <\/div>\r\n <\/div> \r\n

How many credits may I enrol in per semester?<\/div>\r\n

Regular students may enrol in a maximum of 35 credits per semester. Students with an average grade above 8.50 may be allowed to enrol in a maximum of 40 credits upon a written request to the Dean's Office and with the course prerequisites satisfied.<\/p>\n\r\n <\/div>\r\n <\/div> \r\n

You need to submit your index with the current semester enrolled and a payment slip corresponding to the certificate, attestation or extract according to the Faculty Price List.<\/p>\n\r\n <\/div>\r\n <\/div> \r\n

How do I annul a grade\/retake an exam?<\/div>\r\n
\r\n

The student must submit a written complaint to the Dean's Office within 24 hours if they are dissatisfied with the final grading or believe that the exam was not conducted in accordance with the Law on Higher Education. The teacher will review the grade and schedule a date for a repeat exam. If the teacher does not wish to review the grade, the student takes the exam before a three-member committee within the next 24 hours or on the next working day.<\/p>\n

If the student is satisfied with the grading but believes they can and wish to learn more for a higher grade, they submit a written request to the Dean's Office of the Faculty to be allowed to retake the exam. This request must be submitted within a maximum of 4 months from the day of the first sitting.<\/p>\n\r\n <\/div>\r\n <\/div> \r\n

How do I re-enrol at the Faculty?<\/div>\r\n

Very wise of you \u2013 students who have not yet graduated are receiving job offers\u2026<\/p>\n

You need to bring your secondary-school certificates and diploma, birth certificate, certificate of citizenship, your index (if you have kept it, or declare it lost (procedure under question no. 1)) and a payment slip for 2,000 denars according to the Faculty Price List. According to Article 323 of the UKIM Statute, since you have already used your right to study within the state quota, you move to the co-financing quota.<\/p>\n\r\n <\/div>\r\n <\/div> \r\n

What should I do if I lose my index?<\/div>\r\n
\r\n

Be careful \u2013 don't do that! The index is a personal document\u2026 you must take care of it yourself\u2026.<\/p>\n

But if it does happen, first wait seven days and check at the Faculty reception desk, as well as at the Student Services Offices of the Faculty of Civil Engineering and the Faculty of Architecture.<\/p>\n

If it does not turn up \u201cfrom somewhere\u201d, then declare it invalid in the Official Gazette (https:\/\/euslugi.slvesnik.com.mk\/Announcements.aspx<\/a>), pay 1,500 denars, buy a new index, attach one photograph, and submit it completed to the Student Services Office.<\/p>\n\r\n <\/div>\r\n <\/div> \r\n

      How do I get a diploma by urgent procedure (before the graduation ceremony)<\/p>\n

      Submit a request for the issuance of a diploma by urgent procedure with your details, a payment of 6,200 den. for the diploma and diploma supplement to the giro account of the Faculty of Civil Engineering, and a payment of 5,000 den. (for the first and second cycle) or 10,000 den. (for the third cycle) to the giro account of the Faculty of Civil Engineering with the purpose of payment: issuance of a diploma by urgent procedure.<\/p>\n

      The diploma is prepared with the date of submission, and according to the Regulations<\/a> on the conditions and procedure for issuing and revoking a diploma and diploma supplement for completed higher education studies at UKIM in Skopje (Official Gazette of the RNM No. 336, 1 June 2016), Article 11, the diploma is prepared within 10 days from the day the request, signed by the Dean, is submitted.<\/p>\n
