E-Library

The Library was established with the founding of the Faculty of Engineering in 1949 and has operated independently as a separate organizational unit since 1975. Throughout this entire period, from its establishment to the present day, its activities have continuously expanded and modernized.

The Library acquires various types of library materials (books, textbooks, journals, and standards) in accordance with users’ needs, organizes and catalogs these materials, making them quickly and easily accessible to users.

The library collection consists of textbooks, domestic and foreign professional literature, journals, and standards. The Library holds over 16,000 titles, making it one of the best-equipped libraries, considering that it is a closed-stack library. This number does not include master’s and doctoral theses defended at the Faculty of Civil Engineering, nor proceedings from symposia and seminars.

The Library serves all students (undergraduate, master’s, and doctoral) as well as faculty staff, totaling approximately 1,000 users. Student registration at the library is done in person, and only a student ID valid for the current academic year is required. Books can be borrowed for a maximum of two semesters, and a fine equal to the value of the lost book is charged for any lost items.
