Self-Evaluation

Self-evaluation is a continuous process of monitoring and assessing the quality of higher education and research activities, management, financing, material-technical and academic capacities, and other activities at the faculty level. Self-evaluation is carried out through the evaluation of study and course programs, as well as teaching and learning processes, and through the assessment of the scope and quality of research activities and their role and place in the educational process and beyond. The self-evaluation at the Faculty of Civil Engineering – Skopje is part of the process for evaluating its quality and forms part of the accreditation procedure in accordance with the legal acts of the Republic of North Macedonia. Its three main objectives are to:
  • Provide a brief and concise overview of the educational process, the faculty’s facilities and equipment, research activities, student competencies and engagement, as well as the organizational structure and functioning of the faculty.
  • Analyze the strengths and weaknesses of the faculty in carrying out higher education and research activities, and propose corrective measures.
  • Provide a foundation for conducting the self-evaluation carried out by Ss. Cyril and Methodius University – Skopje and for its accreditation.

The self-evaluation process is conducted by a Self-Evaluation Committee and subcommittees, chaired by Professor Jovan Papić, PhD.
At the end of each semester, students complete an electronic self-evaluation survey.
