Scholarships
The Faculty of Civil Engineering Skopje, as the only higher education institution in our country offering first-, second- and third-cycle studies in the fields of civil engineering, geodesy and geotechnics, has an obligation to educate highly qualified professionals who, with their skills and competencies, will be able to respond to the tasks and developments in the profession. Fulfilling this obligation requires, among other things, cooperation with construction companies and institutions of the system. The Faculty of Civil Engineering has always been, and will remain, open to cooperation and to all positive ideas and development plans that can contribute to the quality of studies and to the professional shaping and guidance of future graduate engineers.
The Student Scholarship Foundation is one of the forms and opportunities for mutual cooperation with construction companies and institutes in achieving common goals.
The Foundation was established by a Decision adopted at the 309th session of the Teaching and Scientific Council (TSC) of the Faculty of Civil Engineering on 20 May 2004. The basic goals and tasks of the Foundation are:
- to provide better conditions for the students of the Faculty of Civil Engineering,
- for scholarships to be an additional motivation for more successful studying and for ensuring quality professionals able to respond to the challenges of modern civil engineering,
- for the foundation to be a forum through which companies from the construction industry can present their views on the education of new staff in line with their current needs.
Scholarships in each academic year in the first and second cycle of studies apply to students of the current generation, and an additional condition is that they are unemployed.
